Again in Saudi Arabia: the location and date of the Italian Super Cup have been announced. The challenge, which will see Milan (winner of the Scudetto) and Inter (which won the Italian Cup) compete in Riyadh, the capital of the Arab country.

The thirty-fifth edition of the Italian Super Cup will be held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), at the King Fahd International Stadium. This was announced by the Serie A League with an official press release.

The date has also been decided: it will be played on January 18 at 8 pm Italian time, 10 pm local time. The only previous derby in the Supecoppa, in 2011, was also played outside the national borders, in Beijing, and saw the Rossoneri prevail 2-1. This is the twelfth time that the Italian Super Cup has been held outside Italy and the third in Saudi Arabia, after two in the USA, one in Libya, 4 in China and 2 in Qatar. Juventus lead the roll of honor with nine victories, followed by Milan with 7 and Inter with 6.
