​Maina: cross-border sales are flying, driven by the United Kingdom

Maina panettone and pandoro continue to conquer international consumers. Despite the period of profound uncertainty associated with the post-pandemic emergency, the war in Ukraine and the generalized increase in energy and raw material prices, sales of anniversary sweets produced by the Fossano-based company abroad recorded a total volume greater than 10%.

The “historic” markets are the driving force, above all Great Britain, where the percentage increase in products sold compared to last year is close to 30%, but also the United States (+7%). In general, very positive performances are recorded in all the over 40 countries where Maina is present with its confectionery products.
