Curiosity and statistics

The United States is the second team, after the Mexico (17)of the federation of Central and North America to have taken part in the most editions of the World Cup (11).

In three of the last four participations (2002, 2010, 2014) the USA has reached the stage knockout tournament.

For Wales it is the second appearance in a World Cup, 64 years after the first (Sweden 1958).

It will be there first challenge in a World Cup between the two teams, the precedents are only friendlies.
