War in Ukraine, from Saudi Arabia 400 million dollars in humanitarian aid to Kiev

Saudi Arabia will send Ukraine $400 million in aid.

He explained it Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman after talking on the phone with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky. The prince pointed out “the kingdom’s position to support anything that will contribute to de-escalation and a willingness to continue mediation efforts.”

Last month, in fact, Ryad had played an unexpected role of mediation that had led to the exchange of prisoners between Moscow and Kiev.

However, the war in Ukraine has fueled tensions between Saudi Arabia and the United States, with the kingdom refusing to increase oil production as Washington wanted to alleviate the energy crisis resulting from the conflict.

In the last hours, on the war territories, the Ukrainian army has shot down five kamikaze drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Three other drones were shot down in Kryvyi Rih district and two in Nikopol district. Yesterday evening the Russians attacked Zaporizhzhia with kamikaze drones, causing damage to infrastructure.
