Weather alert, closed schools, cemeteries and parks in Naples

As a result of the notice of Orange alert issued for the entire day of Tuesday 22 November which will be characterized by very strong winds, rains and thunderstorms, even of strong intensity, will remain closed tomorrow schools, parks and city cemeteries.

Castel dell’Ovo and Maschio Angioino will also be closed to the public.

The decision to close the schools was also taken by the mayors of the entire Neapolitan province, starting with the first citizens of the islands, Capri, Procida and Ischia. Closures are reported in the Sorrento Peninsula, in Casoria, Caivano and Crispano, Giugliano, Mugnano, Qualiano, Calvizzano and Melito. Similar decision in Vesuviano in Portici, Ercolano, San Giorgio a Cremano, Somma Vesuviana, Torre del Greco, San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, Massa di Somma, Pollena Trocchia and Sant’Anastasia.

Because of adverse weather conditions scheduled for tomorrow, the gallop conference scheduled for Agnano for tomorrow it is postponed to a date to be set. The decision was made to safeguard the safety of men and horses. The Ippodromi Partenopei company invites the trot and gallop horse operators to limit their presence inside the facility for the time strictly necessary for the maintenance of the horses.
